Extension and modernisation of the wastewater treatment plant in Odrzywół

The aim of the investment was to extend the existing municipal and household wastewater treatment plant in Odrzywół. The investment consisted of the construction of new facilities at the Odrzywół wastewater treatment plant and reconstruction of existing ones.

The works enabled the capacity of the treatment plant to be increased to the target PE size of 3900. The aim of the investment was to improve operations by adapting the treatment technology processes to the actual quantity and quality of the wastewater flowing in from the catchment area and to construct a completely new sludge treatment unit for the sludge resulting from the treatment processes.

Due to the systematic expansion of the sewer system in the municipality, the developer has envisaged increasing the capacity of the Odrzywół wastewater treatment plant to the target size. The investment took into account the increasing volume of treated wastewater and the resulting need to intensify the pretreatment and mechanical treatment processes, as well as to extend the treatment system to include the sludge management processes solved at the treatment plant.
