Realization description
The contract includes the construction of a biological reactor (complete unit BR3+BR4), which will provide a total raw sewage throughput of 500 m³ per day. It will feature an aeration system with a new blower.
The investment will also include:
- construction of an excess sludge stabilisation tank with a minimum capacity of 250 m³ together with an aeration system;
- construction of a technical water storage tank and its equipment;
- supply and installation of a new PIX and PAX dosing system, construction of control cabinets;
- construction of a retention tank exclusively for the incoming sewage, together with equipment for its purification;
- installation of a grit chamber screen on the raw sewage inlet to the treatment plant to replace the old screen.
There will also be an upgrade of the visualisation programme, which will allow automatic control of the equipment. The task furthermore includes
- cleaning of the existing retention pond and bioreactor of any sand build-up;
- installation of a flow meter on the domestic sewage inflow to the treatment plant;
- upgrade of the dewatering press (or possibly the supply and installation of a second press or other sludge dewatering equipment);
- making the necessary technological cable and pipeline connections between the facilities.
The site will be landscaped, getting proper roads, yards and fencing. The contractor will carry out mechanical, electrical and technological commissioning of the installation and provide as-built documentation – permission to use the facility.
The modernised treatment plant will have a 100 kWp photovoltaic installation.
