Reconstruction of the sewage treatment plant in Główczyce

1. Modernisation of the biological part of the treatment plant:

• Replacement of the existing biological reactor with a new system with activated sludge technology (e.g. BARD, SBR or equivalent).
• Reconstruction of the secondary sludge chamber and recirculation system.
• Upgrade of the aeration equipment: blowers and pipe/disc diffusers.
• Improvement of the denitrification and defosfatation process.

2. New technological facilities and equipment:

• Separation and extension of the mechanical treatment point (grate, grit chamber).
• Construction of a new retention or averaging reservoir.
• Installation of new pumps, valves, flow and level sensors.

3. Modernisation of the sludge management system:

• Construction/modernisation of a sludge dewatering station (e.g. belt/screw press).
• Sludge building or storage shed for dewatered sludge.
• Possibility of subsequent expansion with a hygienization plant (e.g. liming).

4. Control and instrumentation installations, SCADA, monitoring:

• Implementation of automation for process monitoring and control (SCADA).
• New control cabinets with PLC and HMI operator panel.
• Cable, control and power supply installations including emergency power supply.

5. Associated infrastructure:

• Reconstruction of internal roads, accesses, fencing.
• Construction of lighting and site drainage system.
