Complete installation for the dosing and homogenization of co-substrates for methane fermentation at Spółka Wodna „Łeba”

The service involved the design and execution of a complete installation for the dosing and homogenization of co-substrates for methane fermentation.

Scope of work:

The scope of the task included the comprehensive project implementation, along with the supply and installation of equipment, preparation of documentation, as well as mechanical and hydraulic start-up. The station enables unloading (via vacuum tanker) through the pumped feeding of liquid co-substrates—such as food industry leachates, fats or cooking oils, and biowaste pulp—into the thickened sludge discharge pipeline. This pipeline leads from the mechanical excess sludge thickening station to the thickened sludge buffer tank, from where the thickened sludge is fed in cycles into the methane fermentation chamber.

The installation allows for the dilution of the delivered co-substrates into the medium using process water.
